WHAT WE ARE:
ACT – Anti Corruption Taskforce is primarily an ACTION GROUP. Which means we take ACTION against those corrupt and untouchable individuals and state bodies in our society who deliberately and consciously destroy the lives of so many ordinary people through their wrongdoing, criminality and subsequent cover ups. We take the matter of corruption very seriously so we are very serious about our aims objectives.
Our actions will include bringing to public attention the wrongdoing of those who have been proven to be corrupt and we will do this on a continuing basis. Our methods will include lawful assembly at the workplaces and HOMES of those involved in corruption, irrespective of who they are or how powerful or untouchable they are and whose actions otherwise go unpunished by the justice system and undocumented by the media.
We hold WEEKLY MEETINGS in Athlone, Co. Westmeath and such meetings are open to anyone who wants to take a hands on approach to rid our nation of all types of corruption. At these meetings we discuss tactics and actions and our first action (lawful assembly) has already been decided upon, details of which will appear on this page in due course. We intend to use every avenue available to highlight and fight corruption and lawful assembly is just one of those avenues. We are in the process of compiling a mission statement. This will be a number of demands that we believe are necessary in order to rid our society of corruption. It is hoped that we will have this mission statement democratically agreed upon in the coming weeks.
WHAT WE ARE NOT:
ACT – Anti Corruption Taskforce is NOT a help or support group. We do not possess the necessary resources to undertake such a responsibility. However, within the organisation we do encourage people to network together and to support each other on an individual basis.
We are NOT legal advisers to ANYONE. We DO NOT claim to know anything about the law except that on an individual basis, we are very knowledgeable when the state breaks it’s own laws for use against the people. However, if legal action against the state is deemed a necessary course of action by anyone in this movement, we will encourage support to that person but yet again on an individual basis.
This Facebook page is NOT a rant page, a debate page or a forum for keyboard warriors or trolls. Anyone wishing to get involved with us in our fight against corruption are more than welcome to attend our weekly meetings where their ideas will be welcomed. People are also encouraged to attend our regular public peoples assemblies (aka protests).
This page is for the purpose of drawing people together who are sick and tired of corruption and who want to do something about it, information sharing and publicising our meetings and actions. Name calling, insulting comments towards other page users, foul language or anything else not associated with our aims and objectives will not be allowed on this page and posts containing such behaviour will be deleted and those responsible will be removed permanently from the page and without notice or warning. This page is NOT a social club either so those wishing to engage in chit chat or banter with each other are encouraged to take their personal lives back to their OWN pages.
IN CONCLUSION, WE MUST FIGHT CORRUPTION AS A UNITED FRONT AND WE HOPE THAT THIS ANNOUNCEMENT EXPLAINS WHAT ACT – ANTI CORRUPTION TASKFORCE IS ALL ABOUT.
